Since our first rehearsal, we as POISONGOD have always tried to promote our music to as many a number of people as possible, regardless of the vehicles used to achieve it.
We believe in our MUSIC and our integrity. Money has never been and will never be the force behind the band. We do what we love, even if it doesn’t bring us any financial profit.
The music market of today is going through a war between two worlds: the record industry and the internet.
Little by little we start to see who will come out of this war as winners.
It’s a matter of time.
The record industry’s endless GREED slaughtered the marked through ABUSIVE prices for years. The consumer just paid whatever price they wanted.
We longed for an ANSWER.
Such answer came under the name of INTERNET.
We are not here to argue virtues and flaws from neither side. We are here just to promote our MUSIC. POISONGOD is concerned exclusively with the quality of our music and the quantity of people we can reach through it.
Nothing else. The rest is mere consequence.
It may come a day when “DAEMONCRACY” will get to be officially released. But the truth is that the abusive prices practiced by all parts involved in the fabrication of a CD make us believe that such hypothesis looks more like a utopia.
That’s why we decided to make POISONGOD’s entire first album free for DOWNLOAD.
“DAEMONCRACY” was conceived as to please ourselves and listeners of good heavy music.
The subjects addressed in the album tend to bear our own view concerning all the institutions (most of them organized) that arbitrarily force their way over the human being in order to obtain easy profit and power.

Desde o primeiro ensaio o POISONGOD sempre teve como objetivo principal a divulgação de sua música para o maior número de pessoas possível, independente do veículo usado para tal.
Acreditamos na nossa MÚSICA e na nossa integridade. O dinheiro nunca foi e nunca será força motriz no contexto da banda. Fazemos o que amamos, mesmo que não nos traga retorno financeiro algum.
O mercado musical vive hoje o ápice de uma guerra entre dois mundos: O da indústria fonográfica e o da Internet.
Aos poucos vamos percebendo quem sairá vitorioso nessa guerra.
É uma questão de tempo.
A AMBIÇÃO desmedida da indústria fonográfica massacrou o mercado através da prática de preços ABUSIVOS por anos. O consumidor pagava o preço que ELES queriam.
E rogava por uma RESPOSTA.
Esta resposta veio sob o nome de INTERNET.
Não discutimos virtudes e defeitos de ambos os lados. Estamos aqui unicamente para DIVULGAR a nossa música. O POISONGOD se preocupa exclusivamente com a qualidade de sua música e a quantidade de pessoas que podem ser alcançadas com ela.
Nada mais. O resto é conseqüência.
Pode ser que um dia “DAEMONCRACY” venha a ser lançado oficialmente. Mas a verdade é que os preços abusivos praticados pelas partes integrantes do mecanismo de fabricação de um CD levam a crer que essa hipótese tende a se tornar apenas mais uma utopia.
Por isso resolvemos liberar o DOWNLOAD completo do primeiro álbum do POISONGOD.
“DAEMONCRACY” foi concebido com o intuito de satisfazer a nós mesmos e a todos os ouvintes da boa música pesada.
Os temas tratados no álbum são a nossa interpretação acerca de todas instituições (na sua maioria organizadas) que impõe suas arbitrariedades ao ser humano visando lucro fácil e poder.
